what is the purpose of studying
is it to enrich urself?
to fill ur mind with knowledge for the sake of learning?
is to score well in ur exams?
is it to secure a job in the future
seriously i think everything in sg points to one thing
competition
its at every level of society
be it upfront or subtley
what is wrong with this society
i think humans were born just to compete
this is so damn wrong
some competition is okay
but not till the point of cutthroat competition as is the case in sg and many other developed countries
work ur butt off for what?
just to pay for ur hdb mortage
ur car loans
ur health insurance
taxes?
increasing living costs
but salaries have not risen that much
any push for increase in salaries is put down by the govt
via the unions which it controls
if u you want to live a luxurious life here in sg
i suggest u go elsewhere
prices here keep rising faster than wages can keep up
wait at the top wages no fat paychecks sky rocket
but at the bottom
increases are barely enough to make ends meet
so is income ineaquality rising
i think so
i just dont have the stastistics to do back this up
i feel like a rat trapped in this rat race
how to get out
furthermore currently binded to this organisation
that practically owns u for 2 years
still want to come to sg
i hope ur a foreign talent
cos it seems foreigners get better treatment than locals
life is fair? not

tired, dazed, confused, sianz, aches
worst of all
come down with sudden onset of running nose
down with fatigue
acct is over
no more throwing nor shouting like dogs
mozzies wrecking havoc at nite
precious sleep time disrupted
rejection letter from ntu
unsw leaving sg
less choices to apply to for uni application
the future seems so clouded
so uncertain
fear of the uncertainty
there are times when u have to choose between what is right
and what is easy
which one will u choose
now if only my nose would stop running
and give me the chance to sleep uninterrupted

yeah over the weekend i learnt this the hard way
so ifinally managed to get some games onto my psp
but the ones that i really one just dont work.....
initial d street stage
appears on psp
plays music
but once u boot it
just a black screen
tried two versions ...both the same result
same for burnout dominator
argh so much time wasted
consolation got some puzzle games
that are uber cute
puzzle bobble
puyo fever
the morale
sometimes trying to get things for free doesnt work......
im glad i got some originals
that saved me a heck lot of trouble
speaking of which
antivirus subscription from norton expired darn long ago
now surviving on free applications that have a limited life span
why does good stuff cost so much???
and so the long weekend will come to a close in a couple of hours
luckily most of the aches in my body are subsiding

every day out of camp feels shiok
today im out of camp on a thursday nite cos me and some of my platoonmates took one of our day offs
to cover tml since nothing much is going on tml in camp....
aches all over thanks to acct
foot condition still delicate
today paced some of my platoonmates for soc.
a few more passes with some coming very close
junes looking to be a daunting month
confirm will have some weekends burnt
ndp stuff is coming up
now i m still waiting for a reply from the local u's..........
my memory seems to be getting very bad
often forgets things
it doesnt help that ur head often aches after acct lessons
now im trying to transfer stuff to my psp
as usual not much luck

hm lets just say weekends will get even more darn precious over the next few weeks
the training program is kind of packed
june especially will the be the killer
originally only got one outfield
but thanks to Captain he who must not be named
got an excercise thrown
in defence ex..... field fort..... filling sandbags
battalion command post???
full 5 days?
ugh
okay managed to clear second year soc with only a few seconds to spare....
seriously
soc is one of the things i really dread doing
everytime do will feel so darn shag out
today watched spiderman 3with fishburger
play a bit of arcade
ate ayam pagang tasty
yummy yummy
the movie is nice
keeps u to the egde of ur seat
when u c spideys dark side come out....
scary.....
will mj ever marry peter?
feels sad to c spidey fight his i nner demons
which makes me wonder
how do u contain ur dark side......
unleashing it can totally consume u
it can turn u into another person
aggression, envy, greed, fury........ all this can consume u and u morph into demon like monster
not good
but its happening.....
hope it doesnt happen to me
at least not for now
